Five Dollar Happiness

I admit it shopping is therapeutic for me at times...well allot of times! But in order for it to be a truly rewarding purchase it has to be an item that speaks to me. What it doesn't have to be, is expensive. Sure I love expensive shoes as much as the next girl, but I also take pleasure in finding items that are quirky or that for whatever reason make me smile. I like to go to antique stores with a limit and my limit is low...like $20, and I like to see what I can find for that. These three were all $5 and all three put a smile on face.

The cutest girliest apron ever! I can't make cupcakes without this on.

Glass beaded plates and platter. Useful and beautiful and $5 for all of them.

Carnival glass pitcher. An antique find that was a little dingy...after washing it sparkles. I can't wait to make iced tea.
