Safari Party

Ahhh to be sweaty, sticky and covered in frosting in wet drizzly weather having a Safari Birthday Party! I even think we had mosquitoes fly directly up from the Amazon jungle! Now... where did I put the phone number for "Scream O' Rama" for next year?! Despite the obvious pitfall of New England weather, I still love backyard birthdays. Plus, the garage/carriage house got put to good use and all the little monkeys had so much fun!
I got to exercise my cake making muscles as well. Note to self: Do not attempt animal prints in frosting again!

The coolest part, were animals that came to visit with Jungle Encounters http://www.jungleencounters.org/. It was a great experience. The show managed to keep the attention of 19 kids and a whole group of adults and was not only entertaining but educational!

The kids even got to pet some animals.
