Messy, Messy, Messy!

I had high hopes of posting some Christmas creations this weekend (and I will this week), but there was something more urgent to deal with...the condition of my closet! There was no excuse for it. I couldn't take it anymore so this weekend it went from this:

Ahhh organization....it's so much nicer!

On the large blank wall in my closet (too close to the closet rods to hang anything useful), I decided to hang some surf inspired editorial pages from a magazine. I know this seems completely random, but there's a story behind it. One of the happiest little shops I've ever stepped foot in was a surf and swimwear shop in Maine. They had fun clothes and decor and magazine pictures of beautiful people splashed all over the walls. I fell in love with that shop, something about it made the corners of my mouth turn up. The closet wall is just my tiny re-creation and something cool to look at. Oh and because its in my closet, nobody else has to like it but me!
